Adam Bruckner

Adam Bruckner, a native of Los Alamos, New Mexico, joined Sam Lee as an assistant coach for the Philadelphia KiXX, beginning in the 2004-05 campaign after five years of competing himself.
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay graduate began his professional indoor career with the Detroit Rockers of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL). After two seasons, Bruckner signed with the KiXX and now proudly calls Philadelphia his home.
Bruckner began working with the homeless in 2002 starting a program that helps the homeless obtain ID’s and birth certificates. The program, called ‘Restart’ (www.phillyrestart.com), serves over 10,000 meals per year and helps over 5,000 Philadelphians obtain identification annually. In addition, Bruckner is a Christian youth leader at the Helping Hand Rescue Mission, leading a group that works with disadvantaged children.
Bruckner, a member of the KiXX franchise’s 2002 Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Championship team, was named the MISL’s Humanitarian of the Year at the Commissioner’s Gala at the 2004 All-Star Weekend in St. Louis, MO.
